These Korean-style sticky mushrooms are ideal as a street food dish on the menu. They are Garlic Breaded Mushrooms marinated in a spicy sauce of gochujang and soy sauce. Perfect paired with a fresh yoghurt sauce!
First, make the yoghurt sauce. Mix all the ingredients together and set aside.
Next, mix the gochujang sauce with the sesame oil, agave syrup, soy sauce, ginger and garlic powder in a saucepan and stir well. Heat the mixture over low heat and stir the cornstarch into the sauce, letting it thicken briefly while continuing to stir in the sauce.
Then bake the Garlic Breaded Mushrooms in the oven, airfryer or deep fryer. The correct baking times are indicated on the packaging.
Flood the Garlic Breaded Mushrooms with the spicy sauce immediately after they are baked. Spread the marinated Mushrooms on a plate and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion. Serve with the yoghurt sauce.
